You may talk. And I may listen. And miracles might happen.

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.

The man who has no tincture of philosophy goes through life imprisoned in the prejudices derived from common sense, from the habitual beliefs of his age or his nation and from convictions which have grown up in his mind without the co-operations or consent of his deliberate reason
this is a quote by a philosypher named Bertrand Russel we discussed in my philosophy class… Russel’s point was basically that when you solely focus on material things and self gain you’re really limiting yourself… we were asked if we agreed and i strongly agreed… i think this is especially good point for our generation… for the young men and women who make every move entirely for money or any material thing… i mean there’s nothing wrong with being bout your money and being fabulous but when that’s your main focus it kind of an ironic way of setting yourself back to not being great cause your reasoning behind what is suppose to be your passion and grind is actual not a passion at all or has sincere reasoning. it stops you from appreciating deeper things in life… emotional fulfillment that would last longer than any material that society has got you thinking is the epitome of happiness… superficial fullfillment is a chase that could possibly never end and in fact probably wont happen. its like when your main focus is something sincere and involves meaning that’s when superficial benefits come and when your main focus is superficial things you actually go nowhere… it’s like being a robot… not really living life and absorbing all it has to offer…i find this to be the reason why i cannot stand shallow people around me… people that only want to talk to me bout clothes… the best this… the fly this… or use superficial means to judge others..gagggg! it’s tough to maintain the balance especially where i’m trying to go in my career and especially in NYC but i find you just have to surround yourself with the right people… -Eva <3(via evanka)
I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.
